<<The Florida Skimboarders Crossover Tour was added to the Florida Pro/Am about 10 years ago. It is an event taking 15 of the best PRO Skimboarders and a few select top amateurs and pitting them against eachother in 2 other venues. A) Street skate event at the legendary Skate Park of Tampa (S.P.o.T.) the first ever indoor skate facility. B) Surfing event at Walt Disney World's Typhoon Lagoon in Orlando. After these two events we head back home to Vilano Beach, Saint Augustine for the Fl Pro/Am. After the skimming event we determine the overall points champion for the Crossover Tour.>>

The greatest Pro/Am Skimboarding event on the East Coast of the USA kicks off at 2pm August 19th and finishes Sunday Aug 21st. We only stop when the Sun goes down. 150+ total heats encompassing over 25 hours of live skimboarding action.


Vilano beach Florida will once again challenge the WORLDS BEST PROFESSIONAL SKIMBOARDERS on the UST, the TOP PROFESSIONAL WOMEN as well as 11 Amateur Skimboarding Divisions with riders coming from all over the USA and abroad, all vying for the coveted title at this legendary skimboarding beach.


So many things going on with this event....too much to write. Crossover Tour is back in full force.Tampa skate event at S.P.o.T. with awards dinner directly following at Carmine's in Ybor City, then into Orlando to take over Disney's Typhoon Lagoon for the only Inland Surfing event before heading back home to Vilano...Bands playing on the beach all weekend...10th Street Bros.
